Community aid, aided by community

Bridging the gap between communities and community resources.

Iron Line

Resources exist. Access doesn’t. Iron Line closes that gap.

Based in Grand Rapids. Supporting communities everywhere.

The gap is real.

Grand Rapids has resources. It has people who want to help and people who need help. What it doesn’t have is a clear line between the two.

Information gets siloed. Services exist but aren't findable. Neighbors with capacity don't know where to plug in. The gap isn't a lack of caring; it's a lack of connection infrastructure.

Iron Line is that infrastructure.

How It Works

Iron Line responds where support is needed most.

On the ground:
We run and support direct initiatives in Grand Rapids neighborhoods—food access, clean water, and resource distribution where gaps are immediate.

Before it’s visible:
We identify patterns, map gaps, and design responses that are structured, intentional, and built to last.

Through coordination:
We connect people already doing the work so efforts align, resources move efficiently, and communities are supported without duplication or delay.

You don't need a title or a budget to make something work. You just need a place to start.

Iron Line was built by one person in Grand Rapids who saw a gap and decided to stand in it. That's still how it works. We're not waiting for permission, a grant cycle, or a board vote. We're building with what we have, where we are.

If you know your neighborhood, if you see what's missing, if you've been doing the work without the credit? There's a place for you here.
